Scott McTominay suffered a groin injury

Manchester United have released a statement saying that Scott McTominay suffered a groin injury that required surgery. As a result, Scotland has to withdraw from the Scottish national team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in early September. While local media are expected to be absent for at least four weeks.

The 24- year- old midfielder put in a superb start of the season with a 5-1 win over Leeds. But the following match was a draw. South Hampton 1-1 down and then back up the field manager  Ole Gunnar Seoul tea revealed later that sore groin.  

This led to the official confirmation that McTominay had to put on a scalpel to cure the disease.  

” Scott has undergone surgery to treat a groin pain that left him in pain during the match, ” the club’s official website said.
